Embed SDK
sdk.js is a small, dependency-free script that wires up any form on your page to submit to embedio — no fetch code required.
How it works
Add the script tag once, then mark any form with data-embedio="your-form-key". On submit, the SDK posts the form's fields to embedio, shows a status message, and resets the form.
index.html
<script src="https://api.tryembedio.com/sdk.js"></script>
<form data-embedio="frm_your_form_key">
<input name="email" type="email" />
<textarea name="message"></textarea>
<button type="submit">Send</button>
</form>No file selected? Fields are sent as JSON. Selected a file? The SDK automatically switches to a multipart request — just make sure the form also has enctype="multipart/form-data".
Pick your stack
Prefer to skip the SDK and call the API directly? Here's the same form in plain HTML, vanilla JS, React, and Next.js.
form.html
<form action="https://api.tryembedio.com/f/frm_your_form_key" method="POST">
<input name="email" type="email" />
<textarea name="message"></textarea>
<button type="submit">Send</button>
</form>
<!--
What a visitor sees after submitting (a custom message, or a redirect to
your own page) is set on this form's dashboard page, under "After
submission" — no code needed. To override it for this one embed only,
add: <input type="hidden" name="_redirect" value="/thanks" />
